From coffee to cables: Backstage at a smart tech fair
The grind behind the shine
SPS (Smart Production Solutions) is Europe’s leading trade show for industrial automation. Held annually in Nuremberg, it brings together more than 50 thousand experts, innovators, and decision-makers to explore the future of smart manufacturing. For Innomotics, SPS is where we demonstrate our leadership in motion technology, sustainability, and digital transformation.
The real action happens before the spotlight
Visitors see the polished booth, the sleek demos, and the confident conversations. What they don’t see is the whirlwind of preparation that makes it all possible.
Picture this: a close-up of a coffee cup (steaming, rich, and unmistakably ours). Because yes, we’ve earned a reputation for having the best coffee at SPS. It’s not just a perk, it’s a ritual. Our booth becomes a magnet not only for motors and innovation, but for the perfect flat white that fuels meaningful conversations. Around those cups, our event team is in motion: rolling out banners, testing demo stations, coordinating logistics, and making sure every cable, motor, and pixel is in place.
Marketing Team: The invisible engine
While the booth is the face, marketing is the heartbeat. From crafting messaging that resonates to designing visuals that pop, our marketing team is the force behind every flyer, every screen, every story told at SPS. They coordinate with vendors, manage timelines, and ensure that what we say at SPS reflects who we are: bold, innovative, and customer-obsessed. They’re also the ones snapping those behind-the-scenes photos, the ones with messy desks, tangled wires, and tired smiles. Because that’s the real story. And it’s worth telling.
We arrive to SPS 2025 in force with
- 16 key showcases, including motors and drives, digital tools, partnerships, reference topics, and interactive experiences, each representing a unique aspect of Innomotics’ innovation.
- 50 team members from marketing, product, sales, and support converged to make the booth come alive.
- Visitors will be able to snap selfies at our Portal installation: a visual centerpiece designed to symbolize motion, connection, and transformation.
- Based on last year’s numbers, we expect 1,000–1,500 visitors at our booth each day. That’s thousands of conversations, demos, and connections.
- Countless cups of our legendary coffee fuel the team and delight our guests.
- After long days of demos and data, you might catch a colleague breakdancing between banner stands. True story: we almost added “floor clearance” to the booth checklist.
- Our playlist? A mix of techno, classic rock, and the occasional guilty pleasure. If you hear someone singing into a torque wrench, just smile and nod.
So when you visit our booth (Hall 1, Stand 240) this year, take a moment to look past the polished surfaces. Ask about the motors but also ask about the journey. We’ll be there. Coffee in hand. Ready to show you what we’re made of.
